Sports Day 2024 - 2025

Sports Day is a much-awaited event that brings together the entire school community, fostering camaraderie and teamwork. This year, Anand Niketan Sughad celebrated its annual Sports Day on the 28th, 29th, and 30th of November ,2024 with great enthusiasm.

The theme for the event was “Sharpen, Synergize, succeed”—emphasizing self-improvement, collaboration, and the pursuit of excellence.

The event commenced with the torch relay, led by the Sports Captain, Vice-Captain, and members of the School Council, followed by the ceremonial lighting of the lamp by the esteemed trustee of Anand Niketan Sughad.

The school’s four houses—Jal, Vaayu, Prithvi, and Agni—proudly paraded, showcasing their strength and unity. Each house had its own enclosure, beautifully decorated with banners and creative elements that reflected the children’s artistic talents. The vibrant atmosphere added to the excitement of the day.

The program kicked off with an energetic drill performance by students from various houses, setting the tone for the thrilling competitions ahead. The races—including the 100-meter sprint, obstacle races, and hurdles—saw students competing fiercely, demonstrating unwavering determination and true sportsmanship.

As the event neared its conclusion, students eagerly awaited the announcement of results. Cheers and celebrations erupted as the winning house was declared, marking the end of a successful and memorable Sports Day. The victorious team celebrated with great joy and pride, embodying the spirit of teamwork and perseverance.

The Sports Day at Anand Niketan Sughad was not just about competition but also about learning valuable lessons in discipline, teamwork, and resilience—a day that will be cherished by all.
